...from under a sh**load of work that was aggravated by the fact that most of it was my dear collleague´s who was off on his annual vacation.
So, five weeks in total of extreme heat (temps were scratching on the all-time high record, so it was really hot) and working for two. Not my idea of a holiday. But the truant has returned to work yesterday, and I was glad to drop his cases back on him.
As for my weight, it´s still stuck slightly below the threshold of obesity, with a two-to-four pound variation. But, with the weather returning to normal-range temperatures, at least the water retention has diminished a bit.
And I have a bit of hope that less stress and less heat might even mean my weight will go down again.
